The SOLE-MIZO Zrt. was created following the merger of the two predecessor companies, SOLE Hungária Rt. and Új-MIZO Rt. The merger was registered on 3rd January 2006 and thus our company has become the leading dairy processor in Hungary. Nearly 1.200 people are employed at SOLE-MIZO Zrt.
The newly formed merged company – SOLE-MIZO Zrt. continues its operation with producing fresh, and long shelf life dairy products for its Central and Eastern European markets, in addition to the Middle-East markets.
The company's headquarter is located in Szeged, the production of our qualityproducts is concentrated in 4 production plants, as follows:

• Szeged: Fresh products, cup products and desserts, cottage cheese, coffee creamer, longer shelf life UHT products, and also some of the processed cheese is produced in Szeged
• Bácsbokod: The production of Gouda, Edam, Trappista, Mozarella, natural and smoked Anikó, and also the production of processed cheese takes place in Bácsbokod. SOLE-MIZO Zrt. offers a wide range of packaging types and sizes of these products – including blocks and slices on a tray in protective gas.
• Csorna: The Csorna plant is specialised in export products for further processing (milk protein concentrate) but, besides that, long shelf life UHT products, butter, condensed milk and butter cream in different flavours are also produced there.
• Makó: Furthermore, the Company also operates a plant in Makó, producing Double Cream White Cheese in various packaging types and sizes both for export and for domestic markets. Milk powder is also produced in Makó, upon demand.

The product range of SOLE-MIZO Zrt. is considerably wide. Besides the above listed product groups, much emphasis is given to innovation and product development.
The product protfolio is being continuously updated, and is always being adjusted to the customers’ needs.
Operating the above listed 4 production facilities, SOLE-MIZO Zrt. can guarantee the wide product range, satisfying the more and more demanding market needs. Both the capacity and the technology level of our plants meets the EU Standards. (Tetra Pak line e.g.)
The products of SOLE-MIZO Zrt. are traded under the brands of SOLE, MIZO and Farmer. The products bearing the trademarks SOLE and MIZO are popular both in the Hungarian and foreign markets. Furthermore, the Company is also a supplier of numerous private label products in multinational chains.

With its raw material basis and with the strict quality and hygienic controls the Company guarantees the stable premium quality, suiting the requirements of modern nutrition. The Company’s quality control system, matching the standard of ISO 9001:2000 is applied and being continuously upgraded.
